Souvenir of the Revolutionary Soldiers' Monument Dedication at Tarrytown
The marines and blue jackets from the Cincinnati and Dolphin landed, -- sturdy looking fellows who look as if they preferred business and service to parade. The streets were filled with uniformed menand patriotic bands. It was nearly 11 o'clock when the Mary Patten , bearing the Sons of the Revolution and the Society of Colonial Wars reached the dock.''
The parade was formed and just before half-past eleven Grand Marshal Carpenter said "Forward," and the procession started in this order :
