D. 1753, "bequeathes his silver tankard and silver tumbler that formerly belonged to his grandfather, John Pell, to his son David Pell ; also the great bible. His executors he empowers to execute good and sufficient deeds and conveyances of his lands and remainders of the moneys which shall be arising from the sale of one half of his farm lying in Eastchester, and the island lying in ye manor of Pelham, and my right in lands lying within ye patent at the north end of New Rochelle lands, &c., and to dispose of my lands lying in Fairfield, Conn.^
