There are, moreover, several beautiful and pleasant islands and other places, heretofore also in the occupation of the Netherlanders and still bearing the names they gave, and various other circumstances, which afford sufEcient and conclusive evidence that the river belongs to the Netherlanders and not to the Swedes.
