John D. Goes one of the Persons who has refused to take the Oath of Allegiance as prescribed by the Act and was to have been removed within the Enemies Lines in Consequence of such Refusal; appeared before the Board and informed us that he was bound by a Recognizance in the Sum of £50 -- to appear at the next Court of Oyer and Terminer to give his Testimony concerning a Prisoner now in Confinement and who is then to be tried and as it appears

to us that his Evidence will materially affect the Life of the said Prisoner and we being unwilling to deprive him of the Benefit of so favorable a Witness do order that the Removal of the said John D. Goes be respited till he shall be discharged from his Recognizance by the Court -- Archibald M Kellop who was some time since confined c
