A Letter from Lambert Burghart confined on Parole to Schodack was laid before the Board wherein the said Lambert Burghart informs us that his Mother in Law who resides at Kinderhook is Extreamly 111 and requests Permission for a few days to go and visit her and the said request being taken into Consideration resolved that he have Permission granted him accordingly for the space of Six days. Resolved on Application of Tohn Lansing Jun^ Esq^ that the Mittimus of this Board against George Mar be withdrawn.

Joseph Shannon a Deserter from the British Army having been apprehended and brought before the Board was examined and he appearing to be a person whose going at large may prove detrimental to the safety of the State resolved [16] that a Mittimus be made out to the Goaler to received him into his Custody. Cap^ Moses Wright of Brattleborough appeared before the Board with a Petition signed by a Number of the Inhabitans of Cumberland County containing a request that Major Zadock Wright restricted by Parole to Kings District may

be permitted to remove to the Town of Brattleborough in 1779 Jan. 25. the said County of Cumberland and the Board having taken the same into Consideration do resolve that the Prayer of the said Petition cannot be granted -- Cap Robert Woodward appearing informed the Board that a Number of disaffected Persons frequently resort to the House of Mathewis Van Valkenburgh residing in the Manor of Rensselaerwyck that at a late Meeting of the said Persons at which were present John Van Valkenburgh, John Rysdorp, Leonard Thomas Witbeeck, Jacobus Rysdorp, Pool, John Pool, Harmanus Salsbury, Hendrick P.
