The combined army encamped that night, I think, on the high grounds north or west of my fathers, towards Valentine's Hill.
The next day, we went down again to Morrisania in the same order, but didn't proceed so far towards Morrisania point. Our route too was somewhat different, but we retired as before across the fields of Fordham and Morrisania.
