Talk with Samuel Washburne and with Sophia Underhill who are intelligent, but above all with General Nathaniel Montross who was born and brought up at Pines Bridge, and must be able to give you much information

Nathan Hyatt uncle of Abraham lived at Chappequ (Sam P uncle?)

Some of Captain Samuel Knapp's children (Second marriage with Miss Knapp) live now near Montreal. Samuel Washburne I believe lived at Long Island part of the war.
