Drive to the New Croton Dam, 1913

In 1913, the Overman Tire Company conducted a demonstration test using a National touring car equipped with their cushion tires. The test aimed to showcase "the ability of Overman cushion tires to withstand the abuse to which tires ordinarily are subjected by the average driver." The vehicle traveled various routes and road surfaces within a 50-mile radius of New York City.
