Septr. 10. Mr. Cameron: The skirmish at the capture of Norwalk took place on the east side of the Creek. The British advanced north more than a mile from the Tarrytown road in the vicinity of Pudding Lane. One or two Hessians were killed. Drummond’s hill about a quarter of a mile south of the turnpike and east of the Creek. A guard was kept on Drummond’s hill which the British drove away.
