Stevenson, Ann

John M. McDonald interview — 1849-10-23

From the Westchester County Historical Society catalog:
Mrs. Stevenson is likely Ann Stevenson, the mother of Dr. John B. Stevenson. She was native of Scotland, and mentions that she attended a school at which the poet Robert Burns was a pupil. Mrs. Stevenson also references Dr. John Witherspoon, a signer of the Declaration of Independence and president of the College of New Jersey, now Princeton University.
