His son is at his home now and told him that another child at his school said he was going to shoot up the school. The father wanted to remain anonymous. Ossining PD requested Croton Police respond with their patrols to the Half Moon Bay Drive residence to speak with the child and father. Patrols responded and stood by for the interview with the youth detective.

Resident in Police HQ to report a suspicious incident. He stated he listed a car for sale on Craigslist for $4,200. He was contacted by someone in California saying they wanted to purchase the car and that person mailed him a check in the amount of $9,500 via USPS, asking him to use the extra money to have the vehicle shipped to California. Caller recognized this as a possible scam, did not deposit the check and cut off contact with the person involved. Copy of check and envelope scanned into blotter.
