Patrols responded to the BP Gas Station on Croton Point Avenue on a report of a male on the ground in the parking lot. Patrols arrived and requested EMS response. Croton EMS responded to the scene. While being treated, the male physically assaulted the paramedic on scene. Male was transported to the hospital with a patrol officer on board. Upon release from the hospital, the 50-year-old resident of Montrose was charged with Assault in the 2 nd Degree. The defendant was arraigned in front of the Associate Village Justice and was released on cash bail.
