Croton EMS was also contacted and responded to the scene and transported the caller to the hospital. Investigation is being conducted.

While being treated, the male physically assaulted the paramedic on scene. Male was transported to the hospital with a patrol officer on board. Upon release from the hospital, the 50-year-old resident of Montrose was charged with Assault in the 2 nd Degree. The defendant was arraigned in front of the Associate Village Justice and was released on cash bail.
