Multiple callers reported that several bags of sand were spilled onto the highway. Patrols responded and located about fifteen bags of sand spilled out on the road. NYS DOT was contacted for a crew to respond to the location. Patrols set flares out and directed traffic. Patrols were able to move the sand off the roadway and onto the shoulder with tools from MTA.
