Patrols conducted a traffic stop on Route 9 South. Subsequent to the stop, the operator, a 23-year-old male from Yonkers was arrested for aggravated unlicensed operation. The defendant was processed at the scene and released on his own recognizance.

A caller reported that his mother was involved in a two-car motor vehicle accident on South Riverside Avenue. Patrols responded and filed a report.

Patrols responded to a residence on Hastings Avenue for a 911 hang-up call. Patrols spoke with the caller, who confirmed that the call was made in error.

A caller reported an unoccupied vehicle on the shoulder of Route 9 South with smoke coming from it. Patrols and Croton Fire responded and checked the vehicle. The smoke condition appeared to be caused by an oil leak.

3/28/2023 8:12 p.m. · Half Moon Bay
A caller reported that his neighbor was blasting a white noise machine. Patrols responded and advised the neighbor to turn the machine down. Approximately 2 hours later, a second call was received about the machine being loud again. Patrols responded and measured the noise with a decibel meter. The neighbor, a 78-year-old female from Croton, was issued a summons for a village noise ordinance violation.

A caller reported a male attempting to break into a brown Honda on South Riverside Avenue. Patrols responded and interviewed the involved parties. After an investigation, it was determined that no crime was committed, and that the male attempted to enter the wrong vehicle due to intoxication. Patrols mediated the situation.
