Motor Vehicle Accident
July 12, 2026 – 12:00 AM · Route 9 North
Police responded to a single-vehicle accident on the Route 9 North exit ramp at Senasqua Road. The vehicle struck a guide rail and a parked vehicle, causing the guide rail to block the roadway. The New York State Department of Transportation responded to remove the obstruction, and two vehicles were towed from the scene.
Suspicious Incident
July 12, 2026 – 10:04 AM · Hughes Street
A resident reported two individuals walking around a parked vehicle during the early morning hours. Officers investigated the complaint and found no evidence of criminal activity or damage to the vehicle.
Disabled Vehicle
July 12, 2026 – 1:24 PM · Route 9 South
Police responded to a disabled motorcycle on the shoulder of Route 9 South. A towing service responded and removed the motorcycle from the roadway.

Police responded to a report of individuals swimming after park hours. Officers located the individuals and advised them of park regulations before they left the area.
Criminal Mischief Investigation

A resident reported that a vehicle tire appeared to have been intentionally damaged while parked in a driveway. Officers documented the complaint and completed a report.

Police investigated a report of a parked vehicle that was struck while unattended. A property damage accident report was completed.

Officers assisted a motorist with a disabled vehicle by providing a battery jump-start. The vehicle was successfully restarted.

Animal Complaint
July 18, 2026 – 7:39 PM · Route 9 North
Police responded to a report of a loose dog along Route 9 North. Officers safely secured the dog and arranged for it to be reunited with its owner. A summons was issued for allowing the dog to run at large.
