Arraignments per month. The state rounds every date to the first of the month, so this is the honest resolution of the data — and the newest months may still fill in as the state's extract catches up.
Top charge at arraignment, ten most frequent. Driving offenses dominate: DWI alone is 141 of 463 cases, and unlicensed-operation charges follow. A charge is an accusation, not a conviction.
New York's 2019 bail reform made release the default for most charges arraigned here, and the record shows it: 429 of 463 defendants were released on their own recognizance. Bail was set in 25 cases (some nominal or bond-only); where substantive cash bail was set — 12 cases — amounts ran $100 to $15,000, typically $5,000. An order of protection issued in 22 cases.
Disposition as of the state's latest extract. Most resolved cases end in a guilty plea; serious felonies leave for County Court ("superior court transfer"). Pretrial custody is rare but real: 13 defendants spent 30 days or more in custody before their case ended, the longest 343 days.
The court issued 71 bench warrants — typically for a missed court date. While their Croton case was pending, 64 defendants were rearrested on a new charge.
