On motion of TRUSTEE -, seconded by TRUSTEE -, the following resolution was adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton-on-Hudson, New York with the following vote: Resolution #189-2025 WHEREAS, the Village of Croton-on-Hudson recognizes the need for improved pedestrian infrastructure to enhance safety and accessibility for residents and visitors; and WHEREAS, Westchester County has announced a grant program called the Complete Streets Municipal Assistance Program; and WHEREAS, the Village has identified two projects to submit under this grant program: the installation of a sidewalk along South Riverside Avenue between Municipal Place and Maple Street, and the installation of a sidewalk along Municipal Place between Maple Street and South Riverside Avenue; and WHEREAS, the Village wishes to schedule a public hearing to hear from members of the public on the merits of these projects, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Village Board of Trustees hereby schedules a Public Hearing to be held on September 10, 2025, at 7:30 PM in the Georgianna Grant Meeting Room of the Stanley H. Kellerhouse Municipal Building to consider the project submission for the Westchester County Complete Streets Municipal Assistance Program. Dated: August 20, 2025
