On motion of TRUSTEE -, seconded by TRUSTEE -, the following resolution was
adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton-on-Hudson, New York
with the following vote:
Resolution #211-2025
WHEREAS, the Village of Croton-on-Hudson Board of Trustees recently adopted
Local Law 10 of 2025 to replace Chapter 208, Trees, of the Village Code; and
WHEREAS, as part of this new legislation, a Tree Preservation Fund was established;
and
WHEREAS, the Village Board provided additional guidance at the work session held
on July 23, 2025, regarding the implementation of this fund; and
WHEREAS, Local Law Introductory No. 12 of 2025 has been drafted to reflect these
conversations; and
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was opened and closed on September 10, 2025,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Village Board of Trustees hereby
adopts Local Law Introductory No. 12 of 2025 to amend Chapter 208, Trees, to reflect
clarifications to the Tree Preservation Fund, which upon adoption becomes Local Law
No. 15 of 2025.
