To: From: Date: April 6, 2026 Re: Local Law Introductory No. 3 of 2026 Following the comments received during and after the public hearing on Local Law Introductory No. 3 of 2026, specifically related to domestic/farm animals and the proposed setbacks for their pens, the proposed language to make modifications to these requirements have been removed from this local law. The Village’s planning consultant will be providing a memorandum in the near future with best practices that the Village Board can review in regards to domestic/farm animals and the proper setbacks. Any changes that the Board may wish to make at that point will be drafted in a new local law that will have a separate public hearing. Please let me know if you have any questions.
