On motion of TRUSTEE -, seconded by TRUSTEE -, the following resolution was 
adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton-on-Hudson, New York 
with the following vote:  
 
Resolution #212-2025 
 
WHEREAS, the Village would like to adopt a Naming Policy to regulate and govern 
the naming of Village facilities and streets; and 
 
WHEREAS, a draft policy was reviewed by the Village Board of Trustees during work 
sessions held in June and August 2025, 
 
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Village Board of Trustees hereby 
adopts the Naming Policy for the Village of Croton-on-Hudson as attached hereto; and 
 
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: that such policy shall be deemed in effect 
immediately.
