To: From: Date: September 24, 2026 Re: Black Rock Park & Dobbs Park Bench Donations I received a request from John Sasso to donate funds for the purchase of a bench at Black Rock Park. In accordance with the adopted Gift & Donation Policy, the request was forwarded to the Recreation Advisory Committee for their review and comment. The Recreation Advisory Committee reviewed the request at their September 14, 2026, meeting and gave their approval. Mr. Sasso has sent in payment in the amount of $711, which is the total cost of the bench being purchased. I also received a request from Aurelia Semisa to donate funds for the purchase of a bench at Black Rock Park. In accordance with the adopted Gift & Donation Policy, the request was forwarded to the Recreation Advisory Committee for their review and comment. The Recreation Advisory Committee reviewed the request at their September 14, 2026, meeting and gave their approval. Ms. Semisa has sent in payment in the amount of $1,069.82, which is the total cost of the bench being purchased. I request that the Village Board approve the acceptance of these donations and authorize the placement of the benches at Black Rock Park and Dobbs Park. Please let me know if you have any questions.
