A Work Session of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton-on-Hudson, NY was held on
Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at 7:00 PM in the Georgianna Grant Meeting Room of the Stanley
H. Kellerhouse Municipal Building.

On motion of TRUSTEE NICHOLSON, seconded by TRUSTEE SIMON, the following
resolution was adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton-on-Hudson, New York
with a 4-0 vote (TRUSTEE NACHTALER was absent):
Resolution #225-2026
WHEREAS, the Village Board of Trustees desires to update the language in the Village Code to
provide clarification in the review of land use applications for consistency with the Local Waterfront
Revitalization Plan; and
WHEREAS, Local Law Introductory No. 14 of 2026 has been drafted for such purposes; and
WHEREAS, on September 2, 2026, the Village Board of Trustees adopted Resolution 203-2026 to
schedule a public hearing on Local Law Introductory No. 14 of 2026 for September 23, 2026; and
WHEREAS, the Village Board meeting schedule has been adjusted to move the September 23, 2026,
board meeting to September 30, 2026, which requires the public hearing to be rescheduled, NOW
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Village Board of Trustees hereby calls for a Public
Hearing on September 30, 2026, at 7:00 PM in the Georgianna Grant Meeting Room of the Stanley
H. Kellerhouse Municipal Building to consider Local Law Introductory No. 14 of 2026 to amend
Chapter 223, Waterfront Revitalization, of the Village Code to provide clarification in the review of
land use applications for consistency with the Local Waterfront Revitalization Plan.
During the work session, the Village Board also discussed a proposed tax exemption for 100%
disabled veterans, continued their review of Local Law Introductory No. 7 of 2026 related to
signage and a review of the NY Forward Town Hall held on September 3, 2026, and proposed next
steps.
