A Work Session of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton-on-Hudson, NY was held on
Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at 7:00 PM in the Georgianna Grant Meeting Room of the
Stanley H. Kellerhouse Municipal Building.

Trustee Simon
Trustee Simon made a motion to approve the following vouchers, dated September 16, 2026,
Claims numbered 27001569-27001741. The motion was seconded by Trustee Nachtaler and
approved with a 4-0 vote (Trustee Nicholson was absent).

A motion to open the Public Hearing on Local Law Introductory No. 15 of 2026 to amend
Chapter 31, Manager, Village, of the Village Code to create the position of Assistant Village
Manager was made by Trustee Simon. The motion was seconded by Trustee Nachtaler and
approved with a 4-0 vote (Trustee Nicholson was absent).
There being no comments to come before the Board, a motion to close the Public Hearing was
made by Trustee Nachtaler. The motion was seconded by Trustee Simon and approved with a 4-0
vote (Trustee Nicholson was absent).
On motion of TRUSTEE SIMON, seconded by TRUSTEE NACHTALER, the following
resolution was adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton-on-Hudson, New York
with a 4-0 vote (TRUSTEE NICHOLSON was absent):
Resolution #226-2026
WHEREAS, the Village Board of Trustees are desirous of creating the position of Assistant
Village Manager; and
WHEREAS, Local Law Introductory No. 15 of 2026 has been drafted for such purposes; and
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was opened and closed on September 16, 2026,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Village Board of Trustees hereby adopts Local
Law Introductory No. 15 of 2026 to amend Chapter 31, Manager, Village, of the Village Code to
create the position of Assistant Village Manager, which upon adoption becomes Local Law No. 12
of 2026.
During the work session, the Village Board also discussed Local Law Introductory No. 16 of 2026
to implement cannabis zoning regulations in the Village.
