On motion of TRUSTEE ---, seconded by TRUSTEE ---, the following resolution
was adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton- on- Hudson, New
York with a - vote.
Resolution #243-2026
WHEREAS, on May 14, 2025, the Village Board approved an agreement with Nelson
Pope and Voorhis (“NPV”) of Suffern, New York, to provide on-call grant and
planning services to the Village of Croton-on-Hudson; and
WHEREAS, the retaining of a planning consultant was one of the seven tasks
identified by the Engineering Department review plan undertaken by the Village; and
WHEREAS, on December 1, 2025, the Village Board approved a renewal agreement
with NPV for the current year; and
WHEREAS, based on the workload NPV has undertaken for the Village, it is
appropriate at this time to convert the on-call agreement to a retainer agreement; and
WHEREAS, the terms of the retainer agreement will be $4,000 per month for up to
30 hours of work,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Village Board of Trustees hereby
authorizes the Village Manager to execute the agreement with Nelson Pope and
Voorhis of Suffern, New York, for 30 hours of planning and grant services at a cost
of $4,000 per month through December 31, 2026.
