To: From: Frank Balbi, P.E., Superintendent of Public Works CC: Date: September 19, 2025 Re: Bid #14-2025: Dobbs Park – Baseball Infield Renovation As part of general field maintenance and upkeep, the current baseball infield at Dobbs Park is in need of regrading, sod replacement, and installation of new bases. In order to complete the required improvements, the Village produced a bid for the renovation of the Dobbs Park baseball infield. On August 28, 2025, the Village of Croton-on-Hudson advertised for invitations to bid on the Dobbs Park – Baseball Infield Renovation (Bid # 14-2025). On September 11, 2025, five bids were received and publicly read. The following results were returned: Bid Results: Bidder Bid Amount 1. Vernon Hills Contracting $137,000.00 2. Paladino Concrete $124,000.00 3. Landtek Group $ 69,500.00 4. Greenway Property Services $ 58,000.00 5. Landscape Unlimited $109,000.00 The lowest responsible bid was submitted by Greenway Property Services. Inc., 95 Elmcroft Road, Stamford, CT 06902. Since a work history does not exist with the Village, staff has contacted the references given as part of the bid packet. All references had positive feedback regarding their past projects. Considering the proposal submitted, and the references that have been checked, I recommend approving Greenway Property Services’ proposal for the Dobbs Park – Baseball Infield Renovation project in the amount of $ 58,000.00. If approved, this project will be funded through existing Capital Account H7110.2103.26538. Mayor Brian Pugh Trustees Len Simon Nora Nicholson Cara Politi Maria Slippen Village Manager Bryan T.
