Dear Mr. Healy,
I am writing to inquire about placing a bench at the bus stop on Cleveland
Drive, across from Arlington Avenue to honor my father, Tony Farano.
He is a 93 year resident of Croton on Hudson, is a lifelong member of the
Croton Fire Department with the Colombian Hook & Ladder Company, a
Korean War veteran and was a school bus driver for the Croton Harmon School
District for 30 plus years.
We are requesting the bench to be placed just down the street from where he
currently lives, and has lived for the last 61 years. It is also his old bus route
stop. We would like to replace the guiderail with a bench that would allow
people to sit while waiting for the bus or watching their children sleigh ride
down Sidewalk Hill.
