To: From: Frank Balbi, P.E., Superintendent of Public Works CC: Date: November 13, 2025 Re: Generator Maintenance contract Bid # 18-2025 - Project award Annually, the Village of Croton-on-Hudson contracts with a generator maintenance provider in order inspect and maintain all of its power generators. These generators provide emergency power to Village buildings in the event of a failure. On October 23, 2025, the Village of Croton-on-Hudson advertised for invitations to bid on the RFP for Emergency Generator System Maintenance project (Bid # 18-2025). On November 10, 2025, three bids were received. The following results were returned: Bid Results: Bidder Bid Amount 1. Peak Power Systems $ 13,716.70 2. Northeast Generator $ 14,797.55 3. Gentech LTD $ 11,250.00 The lowest responsible proposal was submitted by Gentech LTD, 3017 US Route 9W, New Windsor, NY 12553. Gentech is our current vendor performing this work. We are comfortable with their understanding of the work and terms of the proposal. I recommend approving Gentech LTD’s proposal for the Emergency Generator System Maintenance project in the amount of $ 11,250.00.
