Village of Croton-on-Hudson - Altice Franchise Renewal...

On motion of TRUSTEE -, seconded by TRUSTEE -, the following resolution was
adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton-on-Hudson, New York
with the following vote:
Resolution #296-2025
WHEREAS, the franchise agreement between the Village of Croton-on-Hudson and
Cablevision of Wappingers Falls, Inc. (dba Altice) is due to expire in December 2025;
and
WHEREAS, the Village retained the services of Cohen Law Group to negotiate the
terms of a new franchise agreement; and
WHEREAS, the new franchise agreement has been finalized and a public hearing is
required to be held before it can be approved,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Village of Croton-on-Hudson
Board of Trustees hereby calls for a public hearing at 7:00 PM, on the 21st day of
January, 2026, in the Georgianna Grant Meeting Room of the Stanley H. Kellerhouse
Municipal Building, Village of Croton-on-Hudson, New York, for all interested
persons to be heard in favor of or in opposition to the proposed renewal of the
Cablevision of Wappingers Falls, Inc. franchise for a period of 10 years.
