A Work Session of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton-on-Hudson, NY was held on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at 7:00 PM in the Georgianna Grant Meeting Room of the Stanley H. Kellerhouse Municipal Building. On motion of TRUSTEE SIMON, seconded by TRUSTEE NICHOLSON, the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton-on-Hudson approved the following board and committee appointments by a vote of 5-0: Conservation Advisory Council Chair December 2027 December 2026 Ellen Elchlepp Arts & Humanities Advisory Council December 2026 Lenore Edman Arts & Humanities Advisory Council December 2027 James Nadeau Bicycle-Pedestrian Committee December 2027 Dan Ozaruk Bicycle-Pedestrian Committee December 2028 Manuel Coronel Jr. Police Advisory Committee December 2026 Jan Johnsen Advisory Board for the Visual Environment December 2027 During the work session, the Board also discussed their site visit to the DPW Garage with Superintendent of Public Works Frank Balbi, received a presentation on the Village’s bond rating from financial advisor Beth Ferguson, reviewed the draft budget priorities survey for the upcoming fiscal year, discussed the recommendations presented by the Recreation Advisory Committee and discussed a proposed local law to create the local office of Village Auditor.
