On motion of TRUSTEE ___, seconded by TRUSTEE ____, the following resolution was adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton- on- Hudson, New York, with a - vote. Resolution #24-2026 WHEREAS, the Engineering Department is responsible for the enforcement of village codes, including those related to trees; and WHEREAS, Cornell Cooperative Extension of Westchester County provides training to municipal officials to become certified tree stewards; and WHEREAS, the employees in the Engineering Department who had previously been certified have retired; and WHEREAS, two current employees in the department wish to take this training in the spring; and WHEREAS, the funds for this training are not currently available in the 2025-2026 General Fund Budget, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Village Board of Trustees hereby authorizes the Village Treasurer to make the following budget transfer in the 2025- 2026 General Fund Budget: A1440.4000 Engineer – Contractual $2,000 Decrease A1440.1000 Engineer – Personnel $2,000 Dated: February 4, 2026
