THIS AMENDMENT made as of this ______ day of ______, 2026, between the VILLAGE OF
CROTON-ON-HUDSON, a municipal corporation, having its office at One Van Wyck
Street, Croton-on-Hudson, New York (“the Village”), and AMERICAN LEGION FOX-EKLOF
POST 505, located at Six Terrace Place, Croton-on-Hudson, New York (“the Post”).
WHEREAS, the Village and the Post are parties to an agreement dated October 18, 2022,
regarding the reimbursement of expenses for patriotic observances; and
WHEREAS, every four years, the Post hosts the Pearl Harbor Day ceremony for the
communities of Peekskill, Cortlandt, Buchanan and Croton-on-Hudson; and
WHEREAS, in years when this ceremony is hosted, expenses for these observances can
exceed $2,500,
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants and agreements set forth
in this agreement, the parties mutually agree as follows:
The agreement between the Village and the Post is hereby amended to add a fourth
section:
4.
In years when the Post hosts the Pearl Harbor Day ceremony, the Village will
reimburse additional expenses up to $500.00, for a total of $3,000.00.
