On motion of TRUSTEE ___, seconded by TRUSTEE ____, the following resolution was adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton- on-Hudson, New York, with a - vote. Resolution #27-2026 WHEREAS, in 2025, the Village of Croton-on-Hudson Board of Trustees requested home rule legislation to lease sports field fences to certain non-profit organizations for advertisements; and WHEREAS, Governor Kathy Hochul signed the legislation requested by the Village into law on September 10, 2025; and WHEREAS, the Croton Little League desires to place advertisement banners at Dobbs Park field; and WHEREAS, a lease agreement has been drafted to authorize the placement of these banners; and WHEREAS, the fees paid under this agreement will be used solely for the care and upkeep of the Village’s playing fields, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Board of Trustees hereby authorizes the Village Manager to execute an agreement with Croton Little League for the leasing of certain sports field fences for the placing of advertisement banners for the period beginning January 1, 2026, through December 31, 2031.
