License Plate # The maximum length of boats allowed in the club is thirty-five (35) feet length overall (LOA) (includes swim platform, bow pulpit, engine, etc.) Prior Years Slip Assignment • I will follow the Mooring Rules, By-Laws, Standing Rules, Code of Conduct, Boaters Guide and Best Management Practices of the Croton Yacht Club. • Boats and PWC’s are assigned to slips according to size. I agree my boat or PWC will be assigned where it will fit and that the decision will be at the discretion of the Vice Commodore. • I understand that my boat must be launched by the Saturday before Memorial Day. After that time, the Croton Yacht Club has no obligation to launch my boat. In addition, beginning June 1 there is a fee assessed of $2 per foot per day for boats left on land. • I am solely responsible for the safety of my vessel and will check it periodically. I also understand that I cannot fuel my boat or PWC in the basin or in the yard. • I agree that my boat or PWC will be removed from the basin no later than the last weekend of October. I understand boats left in the basin beyond October 31st will be assessed a fine of $2 per foot per day. I understand that vessels left after that will be assessed a fine of $1.00 per foot per day. • If I plan to winter store at the Croton Yacht Club, I will put my name on the winter storage list, realizing space is limited and will be assigned on a first come, first served basis. If my boat/ vessel cannot be accommodated, I will comply with bullets 5 and or 6 above. If winter storing, I will be available for the scheduled haul-out date, with my boat prepared for haul-out and with storage fees paid by October 1st. Failure to comply may result in loss of storage privileges. A list of available dates will be made available and boats will be placed according to our storage arrangements. Regular members will be accommodated in preference of Associate boaters. • If I reserve and pay for a slip, and for whatever reason do not use the slip, I agree to also be billed at the current rate for summer storage on the dock in addition to slip fees if my boat remains on the property. • No refunds will be given on slip fees unless the slip can be rented to another boater. In that case, the refund will be prorated. • Croton Yacht Club reserves the right to refer all unpaid fees, assessments and or fines to a collection agency at the owner’s expense. • I agree to relieve the Croton Yacht Club and the Village of Croton-on-Hudson of any liability or responsibility for damages or injury to person or property in connection with storing or accessory operations or any use of the demised premises.
