Assessment of Existing Water Storage Tank - RFP # 20-2025
Recently, the Village advertised a Request for Proposal for qualified firms to evaluate and make
recommendations for the repairs, improvements, or replacement of the Upper North Highland Water Storage
Tank. The Village owns, operates and maintains the existing tank, and due to its age a thorough inspection
and review of the structures is needed. The goal for the tank improvements, repairs or replacement is to
provide the Village with a facility that can feasibly meet all applicable current codes and standards as well as
operational needs.
The RFP described the minimum required scope of services, the consultant selection process, and the
minimum information to be included in the Proposal.
On October 30, 2025, the Village of Croton-on-Hudson advertised a Request for Proposals for the
Assessment of Existing Water Tank (Bid # 20-2025). On December 10, 2025, a total of five proposals
were received and publicly read. The following results were returned:

The water department met with USG Water during the bid period, and we’ve had subsequent conversations
with them since. We believe they have a firm understanding for the scope of work, and their references and
past projects line up with our proposed work.
I recommend approving USG Water’s proposal for the water tank assessment in the amount of $4,800.00.
Funding for this contract is included in the Capital Budget account H8340.2106.22399.
