To: From: Date: April 1, 2026 Re: Bench Donations – Dobbs Park & Duck Pond Park I received a request from Kathy Geradi to donate funds for the purchase of a bench at Dobbs Park in memory of Michael J. Geradi. In accordance with the adopted Gift & Donation Policy, the request was forwarded to the Recreation Advisory Committee for their review and comment. The Recreation Advisory Committee reviewed the request at their June 9, 2025, meeting and gave their approval. Due to the planned construction project at Dobbs Park, the purchase of the bench was delayed until 2026. Mrs. Geradi has sent in payment in the amount of $1,111, which is the total cost of the bench being purchased. I also received a request from Kathleen Casey to donate funds for the purchase of a bench at Duck Pond Park in memory of Richard P. Casey. In accordance with the adopted Gift & Donation Policy, the request was forwarded to the Recreation Advisory Committee for their review and comment. The Recreation Advisory Committee reviewed the request at their March 9, 2026, meeting and gave their approval. Mrs. Casey has sent in payment in the amount of $1,075.71, which is the total cost of the bench being purchased. I request that the Village Board approve the acceptance of these donations and authorize the placement of the benches at Dobbs Park and Duck Pond Park. Please let me know if you have any questions.
