On motion of TRUSTEE ___, seconded by TRUSTEE ____, the following resolution 
was adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton- on-Hudson, New York, 
with a - vote. 
Resolution #220-2023 
WHEREAS, as a general rule, the Village makes payment to vendors by check; and 
WHEREAS, some payments are required to be made by wire; and 
WHEREAS, because of the increase in wire transfer fraud, it is prudent to have a 
written policy in place that governs the procedures for Electronic Funds Transfers 
(EFTs); and 
WHEREAS, at the recommendation of the Village’s insurance company, the Village 
Treasurer has prepared an Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) Policy,  
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Board of Trustees hereby adopts 
the attached Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) Policy for the Village of Croton-on-
Hudson.
