On motion of TRUSTEE -, seconded by TRUSTEE -, the following resolution was adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton-on-Hudson, New York with the following vote: -. Resolution # 228-2023 WHEREAS, the STOP-DWI High Visibility Engagement Campaign Program is an overtime, added, patrol effort to enforce the New York State Vehicle and Traffic Laws against intoxicated and impaired driving (DWI/DWAI) in Westchester County; and WHEREAS, the Croton-on-Hudson Police Department wishes to participate in this program; and WHEREAS, the Village may seek reimbursement from the County for an amount not to exceed $10,000 for costs related to this program; and WHEREAS, the commencement date of this agreement is October 1, 2023 and terminates on September 30, 2024, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Board of Trustees hereby authorizes the Village Manager to execute the STOP-DWI High Visibility Engagement Campaign Program Inter-Municipal Agreement with Westchester County for the period between October 1, 2023 and September 30, 2024.
