A Work Session of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton-on-Hudson, NY was held on Monday, October 23, 2023, at 7:00 PM in the Georgianna Grant Meeting Room of the Stanley H. Village Manager Healy Trustee Horowitz Emily Mancini, Assistant to the Village Manager Trustee Simon Trustee Nicholson Trustee Gallelli Discussed at the work session was Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) legislation and the adoption of an updated Statement of Inclusivity for the Village. The following resolution was adopted by the Board of Trustees at the work session: On motion of TRUSTEE SIMON, seconded by TRUSTEE GALLELLI, the following resolution was adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton-on-Hudson, New York, with a 5-0 vote: Resolution #218-2023 WHEREAS, the Village Board is committed to promoting openness, inclusion, freedom and mutual understanding by ensuring all people, regardless of race, religion, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin or immigration status may live free from violence, harassment or prejudice; and WHEREAS, the Village Board is further committed to supporting the visibility, dignity, and equality for all people in the community, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Statement of Inclusivity of October 23, 2023 is approved and adopted in order to foster and advance the goals of making the Village of Croton-on- Hudson a just, equitable, diverse and inclusive community.
