On motion of TRUSTEE ___, seconded by TRUSTEE ____, the following
resolution was adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton- on-Hudson,
New York, with a - vote.
Resolution #249-2023
WHEREAS, the Village of Croton-on-Hudson is an employer participant in the New
York State & Local Retirement System (NYSLRS); and
WHEREAS, NYSLRS invoices the Village annually for employer contributions due
every February; and
WHEREAS, the Village budget is proposed and adopted before NYSLRS provides
an actual invoice for the corresponding fiscal year; and
WHEREAS, the Village has an established fund balance reserve designated for
Future Retirement to plan for unexpected changes in the actual invoice; and
WHEREAS, the February 2024 NYSLRS annual invoice is higher than the
appropriation contained in the Village’s 2023-2024 budget,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Village Treasurer is authorized to
make the following budget amendment to the Adopted Budget for Fiscal Year 2023-
2024:
