A Work Session of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton-on-Hudson, NY was held on Monday, November 20, 2023, at 7:00 PM in the Georgianna Grant Meeting Room of the Stanley H. Village Manager Healy Trustee Horowitz Emily Mancini, Assistant to the Village Manager Trustee Simon Trustee Nicholson Trustee Murtaugh Mayor Pugh announced that Trustee Ann Gallelli has resigned from the Village of Croton-on-Hudson Board of Trustees due to health reasons, and that he has appointed Ian Murtaugh to fill the remainder of her term, which will expire in December of 2024. Trustee Murtaugh took the oath of office with the Village Clerk on November 20, 2023. Discussed at the work session was future recreational uses and opportunities at Gouveia Park, rules and regulations governing the use of Village Parks and Facilities, residential parking near the Croton River, and utilizing the Village shuttle bus for a local holiday shopping event. On motion of TRUSTEE SIMON, seconded by TRUSTEE NICHOLSON, the Village Board moved to refer a model tree ordinance provided by Westchester County to the Conservation Advisory Council for review and comment, with a vote of 5-0.
