following resolution was adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of
Croton-on-Hudson, New York:
Resolution #268-2023
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works has been working to restore Village
roadways that have been excavated for the purpose of repairing water leaks; and
WHEREAS, due to an unanticipated increase in the cost in materials, the
Department of Public Works Superintendent Frank Balbi requests $6,000 to cover
the expenses for the remainder of the repairs; and
WHEREAS, funding for this expense was not included in the 2023-2024 Water
Fund budget,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Village Board hereby
authorizes the Village Treasurer to transfer $6,000 from Contingency Account
F1990.4000 to the following accounts:
F8340.4170 – Distribution – Pavement Restoration:
$6,000
