Dear Dan,
Based on recent safety concerns, below is what I propose to improve the safety conditions at 425
Riverside Drive. Implementing these new measures will not only enhance safety but improve
pedestrian access from the building to the parking area.
#1 as shown in pink on sketch:
Install hatched striping area for M & J entrance
#2 as shown in yellow on sketch:
From side door to front of building, install new hatched striping for pedestrian access
#3 as shown in red on sketch:
Install new black aluminum fencing 48” high from side door access roughly 20 feet towards
front of building to prevent pedestrians from walking through the hatched area
#4 as shown in green on sketch:
Install new 4” ballards along hatched walkway for pedestrian access
#5 as shown outlined in green on sketch:
Install new striped walkway
#6 as shown with red dots on sketch:
New designated parking area for retail tenant (Straddles) with signage
