Dear Village Trustees,
The Croton Conservation Advisory Council requests that the following statement be read as
correspondence at the next village board meeting. We would like this paragraph to be included
in the RFP ( request for proposal) in the next landscaper contract.
The following is a request from the Croton Conservation Advisory Council (CAC) to the Croton
village government regarding gas-powered leaf blowers (GLB). The CAC requests that the village
includes language in the next contract with the selected landscaper that requires compliance
with the current GLB regulation. Specifically, the landscaper is required to follow the Croton GLB
regulation for both their private residential and commercial customers in Croton.
