Altice USA One Court Square West Long Island City, NY 11101 (516) 803-2300 AlticeUSA.com VIA ELECTRONIC FILING December 8, 2023 Re: Changes to Non-Promotional Video Pricing To Whom It May Concern: Altice USA, Inc. (“Optimum” or the “Company”) hereby notifies your office of upcoming changes to the non- promotional pricing of certain Optimum video offerings impacting residential customers. Scope -- Most Video Customers Unaffected: At the outset, we note that because most of our customers are on promotions, these changes do not immediately impact the vast majority of Optimum video customers. 1 Business customer rates are also not affected by these changes. Programming Fees Primarily Driving Changes; Optimum’s Efforts to Moderate Costs, Increase Customer Choice. These changes are driven largely by the rising costs of securing video programming, along with inflation and other market conditions. Optimum’s focus is to: (1) moderate the impact of those increases on those customers who choose to subscribe to a traditional cable package; and (2) facilitate access to non-cable video offerings for other customers.2 With the changes referenced in the attached, Optimum non-promotional video pricing is now largely aligned with the rates charged by other industry providers. The attached enclosure provides more detail on these changes. New video rates will go into effect beginning January 8, 2024, and existing customers will receive 30 days’ advance notice of any change to their monthly price (unless the customer elects to make a change to his or her video service or package, in which case the adjustments will be disclosed at the time the customer requests the change).3 Customers may cancel or downgrade at any time. Current rate information is made available on the Optimum website at Optimum.com/pricing-packages. Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me by email at Francis.Alleva@AlticeUSA.com. Frank Alleva, Esq. Senior Director, Government Affairs 1 The Company offers various promotions, whose terms are communicated to and agreed by customers at the start of the promotion and changes for which are preceded by thirty days’ notice. The changes described herein do not alter the terms of any promotions. The Company does not have long term contracts or early termination fees. 2 Recognizing that many video customers are choosing over-the-top streaming options, the Company has various measures to give customers choice in how they access video. For instance, the Optimum Stream product combines a customer’s cable subscription with hundreds of video apps; the Altice One gateway integrates Netflix, YouTube and other OTT content; and the Optimum video app allows customers to watch television on tablets and phones. 3 Customer notice will include the new non-promotional rates and notify customers of the total increase to their monthly recurring charges before taxes and fees. New Non-Promotional Video Pricing Effective beginning January 8, 2024, for new customers or existing customers requesting a change to their video service or package. All customers will receive 30 days advance notice of changes to their monthly rate. TV Service Tiers New Monthly Rate Non-Promotional Pricing Broadcast Basic $50.00 Optimum Economy $95.00 Optimum Core $120.00 Optimum Value $125.00 Optimum Select $140.00 Optimum Premier $165.00
