Kellerhouse Municipal Building One Van Wyck Street Croton-on-Hudson, NY 10520-2501 RE: PROPOSAL 2023-2024 Bridge NY Funding Application Preparation – Route 9A Culvert Dear Bryan: C.T. Male Associates Engineering, Surveying, Architecture, Landscape Architecture & Geology, D.P.C. (C.T. Male) appreciates the opportunity to submit our proposal to prepare a Bridge NY funding application for replacement of a culvert on State Route 9A, which was in place prior to the early 1970s and is believed to be the Village’s responsibility for maintenance and/or reconstruction. We have summarized the anticipated tasks to prepare the Bridge NY Application for this potential culvert replacement project, consistent with NYSDOT guidelines: Review Existing Culvert Information: C.T. Male will conduct a review of prior and recent technical information about the culvert project site to update existing conditions information and photograph documentation to verify the severity of the culvert and need for its replacement. Resource information may include but not be limited to existing base mapping, any prior design and repair studies, and local inspection and maintenance reports and related correspondence or other records. Prepare and Submit the Bridge NY Application: We will complete all documentation required for the Bridge NY Application with an anticipated deadline of January 19, 2024, including a detailed cost estimate, project schedule, site location maps, SEQR/NEPA environmental review documentation, compilation of recent inspection reports, including an on-site inspection, and narratives about the most recent documented deficiencies and any related flooding and drainage issues, along with evaluation of current right of way needs and a possible hydraulic analysis to scope the expected size of the replacement culvert structure. C.T. MALE ASSOCIATES December 11, 2023 Mr. Bryan Healy, Village Manager Page - 2 We will prepare the 2024 Bridge NY Application as outlined above for the Route 9A Culvert including a site visit by a licensed Engineer to assess current conditions and prepare supporting inspection and hydraulic information, for a lump sum of $5,800, including all expenses and two bound copies of the Application after submission.
