Donations for Senasqua Swing
Last year, members of our emergency services responded to Senasqua Park to help free a child who
had gotten stuck in one of the swing sets. Upon further investigation of the incident, it was determined
that the child had special needs and there was no inclusive play equipment in the playground. The
cost of installing an inclusive swing was approximately $2,000.
Both the Croton Rotary Club and the Croton Police Association offered to donate to this cause; the
Rotary Club contributed $500 and the Police Association donated $1,000. The Village will cover the
remaining cost.
I would ask that the Board accept these donations and I thank the two organizations for their generous
contributions.
