A Work Session of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton-on-Hudson, NY was held on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at 7:00 PM in the Georgianna Grant Meeting Room of the Stanley H. Kellerhouse Municipal Building. Village Manager Healy Trustee Murtaugh Emily Mancini, Assistant to the Village Manager Trustee Simon Taryn Ramey, Associate Village Attorney Trustee Nicholson Trustee Politi On a motion by Trustee Nicholson, seconded by Trustee Simon, the Village Board voted unanimously to refer the question of leashed dogs, short-term recreational activities and port-a- johns at Gouveia Park to the Recreation Advisory Committee for review and comment. On a motion by Trustee Murtaugh, seconded by Trustee Politi, the Village Board voted unanimously to endorse the memo submitted by the Gouveia Park Working Group. In addition to Gouveia Park, the following items were discussed at the work session: the rules and regulations for Senasqua Park, a proposed local law to increase the real property tax exemption for qualifying Cold War veterans and to provide a tax exemption for Gold Star parents, and a proposed local law to repeal the existing regulations on adult entertainment use businesses and adopt new regulations regarding same.
