On motion of TRUSTEE GALLELLI, seconded by TRUSTEE SIMMONS, the following resolution was adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton-on-Hudson, New York: Resolution #46-2019 WHEREAS, the Village and the Croton-Harmon School District have been meeting to discuss Firefighters Memorial Field, located at the end of Gerstein Street; and WHEREAS, the school district uses this Village field for girls softball games and practices during the spring sports season; and WHEREAS, the school district has offered to purchase and install a scoreboard, wind screens and fence capping for the field, as well as a tarp for the infield section; and WHEREAS, the school district has also offered to supply additional maintenance of the field during the spring season; and WHEREAS, the term of this agreement shall be for a period of five years from the date signed, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Village Manager is hereby authorized to sign the agreement on behalf of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton-on-Hudson; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: that such agreement shall come into effect upon the approval of the Board of Education of the Croton-Harmon Union Free School District.
