On motion of TRUSTEE ___, seconded by TRUSTEE ____, the following resolution was adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton- on-Hudson, New York, with a - vote. Resolution #85-2024 WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works currently utilizes a 1990 International 10-wheel dump truck for daily operations; and WHEREAS, this vehicle has reached the end of its useful life and must be replaced; and WHEREAS, the proposed Capital Plan for the 2024-2025 fiscal year includes the purchase of a new large dump truck for the Department of Public Works; and WHEREAS, allocating operating funds to capital projects reduces the need for issuing debt; and WHEREAS, the Village has utilized a smaller amount of rock salt than originally budgeted for in Fiscal Year 2024, and would like to utilize the surplus funds for the purchase of the new dump truck; and WHEREAS, a portion of the purchase price for the new dump truck vehicle will be offset with funds received from recently auctioned surplus equipment, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Village Treasurer is authorized to make the following amendment to the 2023-2024 General Fund and Capital Fund budgets: GENERAL FUND EXPENSE Decrease A5142.4200 Snow Supplies $25,000 GENERAL FUND REVENUE Increase A1000.2665 Sales of Equipment $43,000 CAPITAL FUND EXPENSE Increase H5110.2010.24467 DPW Equipment $68,000 Dated: April 24, 2024
