As you may be aware, the backflow preventer protects against the contamination of potable water sources by ensuring that water flows in one direction only. This replacement will ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and safeguard the water sources for our students, staff, and community members. It is my understanding that there is an associated application fee for the DOH backflow preventer permit, and we are seeking your assistance in securing a waiver from the Village for this $300 fee. We greatly appreciate your consideration of our request and look forward to your response. Please let me know if you need any additional information from me.
